How to listen to music in the background with iTube

In this article, we are going to explain to you how it is possible to listen to any song from YouTube in the background thanks to iTube. It is even possible to do it with the screen off.

One of the features that many users turn to apps like iTube for is the ability to play music in the background. This means that even when you exit the app or turn off the screen, the audio is still playing. The first thing to do is locate the music you want to play. To do this, use the search engine located at the top of the home screen.

Then select the song or playlist you want to listen to.

The iTube reader immediately appears on the screen. From here you can control the playback progress, activate shuffle mode, or repeat songs. The next songs to listen to are displayed at the bottom. When you get there, you can exit the app or turn off the screen.

Background playback can be controlled from the notifications panel. Just open it by dragging it down from the top of the screen.

Moreover, since it is background music, playback control is also available on the lock screen. This makes it very easy to pause or change songs, even after turning off the screen.

If you want to end playing and remove the permanent iTube notification with the controls, tap the button in the upper right corner, represented by a cross.

When you want to resume playing, go to iTube and, using the built-in player, start the music. Repeat this process as many times as you want to change songs. You can also add new songs to the playlist from the search box.
