How to install XAPK files
Installing an XAPK file is not as easy as installing an APK. Either way, you don't have to worry: just follow our guide to be able to use the app or game you have in your hands.
If you have an XAPK file in your hand and try to install it, you will not be able to. To install this kind of file correctly on Android you will need a specialized installer because Android is not able to recognize them.
First, you need to enable the installation of apps that are not from Google Play (if you have Android 8 or higher, you can skip these first steps, as your own operating system will prompt you after that). To do this, take your device and go to the Settings menu of the operating system.

We also recommend that you turn off Google Play Protect. To do this go to the Google Play Store and tap on the icon of the three horizontal lines, at the top left of the search engine.
Select Play Protect from the list.
Press the gear, top right.
Tap Scan device for security threats to turn off the option.
Confirm the setting on the pop-up window by pressing Ok.
With these prerequisites met, the process of installing an XAPK file begins by downloading the XAPK Installer by pressing the green Download button.
Confirm the download by pressing the same button again.
When the download is ready, press the notification that appears on the screen or finds the file in the download folder and start the installation.
Tap Install at the bottom right when the phone asks.
When the installation is complete, press the Open button in the lower right corner.
You may need to give the necessary permissions to access photos, media, and files.
You will see a list of all APK and XAPK files detected in the system. Find one of the apps you want to install and press Install on the right.
You will now be able to enjoy your app in XAPK format without any further complications. XAPK Installer will surely become an inseparable colleague for you.
