 What is the Gourmet Battle?

 The Gourmet Battle is a new limited-time game mode that was added in Update 6.30. It faces two teams of players who fight to protect their character and it is based on a supposed rivalry between Durr Burger and Pizza Pit. Each team represents one of the two characters and they must break the other to prevent their giant character's head from being destroyed. These can be found in their restaurants under construction in the center of the team's map.

Before the battle begins and for 5 minutes there will be a large barrier to separate the two teams so that both have time to prepare before starting the battle. The goal of the team's play while this barrier separates them is to form a defensive structure around the giant head with the resources obtained through recollection and with the building materials collected in the field. Additionally, to help each team prepare, there will be red supplies distributed around the map along with weapons, consumables, ammo, and traps. On the other hand, you will not find explosive weapons in this game mode so that to destroy the defensive structure of the computer you can only do it with a bullet or with the pickaxe.

Finally, it must be said that, as these are games where the main objective is not the destruction of the opponents but of the giant heads of the teams, the eliminated players will reappear 7 seconds after dying and they will keep all the inventory they had before death.
